New Adventures Await

It is going to be an exciting year for the Taylor family!  Laura is going off to college and Landon is going to foreign lands. I will update you all when plans are firm!  Until then, be kind to one another and always assume positive intentions!

Anyone out there?

We spent Black Friday and Small Business Saturday in Lancaster, PA! What a lovely place to visit and relax. On Friday night we got to see Santa and the tree lighting in the main square! It was so neat to be able to kick off the holiday season surrounded by children. We spent the day on Friday at Longwood Gardens enjoying their Christmas decorations and displays. Saturday started with a visit and breakfast at the Central Market. It is such a neat place to visit.

Now we are counting the days until Christmas!  24 days to go! We will be patient and enjoy the Advent season!

Fall is here and that means it is time to get our pumpkin! We went to Burke Nursery's Pumpkin Patch on Saturday and chose the perfect pumpkin to carve. The kids were disappointed that they are too old for many of the activities. We did go on a hayride (with no hay) so it fun was had by all!

This is an osprey that lives in a nest on the George Washington Parkway in Alexandria. I have tried to photograph her many times. Today, I had success!
